Cecil Andrew Snyder, 67, of Ravenswood departed this life March 6, 2010, at his home following a sudden illness.

He was born November 10, 1942, in Ravenswood, a son of the late Cecil Snyder and Elsie Bates. He was also preceded in death by his wife Patricia Snyder and brother Charlie Bates.

He enjoyed spending time with his dog Laddie.

Survivors include his fiancée Pamela Ruth Pierce of Ravenswood; step-sons Kyle Pierce of Ripley, and Sheridan (Lori) Pierce, Dustin Pierce, and Toni Pierce, all of Ravenswood; daughter Tonya Snyder; sister Ernestine (Walter) Bosley of Ravenswood; brother Ray (Betty) Snyder of Wilding; and special friends Mary King and Buddy Headley.

A procession will leave the Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, for the Ankrum Cemetery, Evergreen Hills, where a graveside service will be held.
