James C. (Cam) Crane, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Ripley, WV, passed away on October 6, 2018.
Cam was born Nov. 4, 1926, to Ebb and Orva Crane.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Corbin Crane and daughter, Donna Hardy of Lakeland, FL. Also, daughter-in-law, Sue Cottrell; granddaughter, Brittney and two great grandsons, A. J. and Eli, of Baltimore, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dusty Cottrell; sister Margaret Smith (Jim), and brother, Golden Crane.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Cam retired from Fairplain Tractor Sales. He was a member of the Ripley Masonic Lodge 16 for 64 years and of the Knight’s Templer of Ravenswood. He attended Ripley Tabernacle Church and College Heights Church upon moving Lakeland.
Cam enjoyed bowling with his Rock ‘n Rollers team at FL Presbyterian Homes.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastors Jeff Keffer and Mike Elder officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites provided by Ripley Lodge No. 16 will be in the Casto Cemetery, Fairplain. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
