Patricia Lois Boyd Winter, 82, of Ripley, WV, passed away December 3, 2017, while surrounded by her family at the home of her daughter Kathy.

   She was born October 11, 1935, in Ripley, the daughter of the late Thomas Willard and Mary Adele (Rhodes) Boyd. 

   Pat was retired from the Southern Jackson County Public Service District with 17 ½ years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was a member of the Grasslick Baptist Church.

   Survivors include her daughters, Tara Lynn Winter Anderson (Rick) of Ripley and Kathy Dawn Winter Hurt (Terry) of Cottageville; brother William “Bill” Boyd (Margaret) of Ripley; sister, Donna Sue Cobb (Dan) of Portland, OH; grandchildren, Brandi Thompson (Todd) of Culloden, Amanda Salmons (Luke) of Milton, Keith Hurt (Kate) of Orlando, FL, and Darleta Hurt of Richmond, VA; great grandchildren, Carson, Faith, and Mya Thompson all of Culloden, Mason and Jake Salmons both of Milton, Jase, McKenzie and Zooey Hurt all of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by the father of her children, Carroll Winter.

   Service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans, WV, with Pastor Charlie Bolin officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Committal service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017, in the Fairview Cemetery, Given, WV.
