Robert Charles Peirson, 73, of Ripley, WV passed away August 4, 2017.

   He was  born in Grand Island, Nebraska to the late Charles Herbert and Coletta Rowena (Reel) Peirson. 

He is survived by his wife Janet Sallee Peirson; Sister Linda Shoemaker (Roy); Brothers-In-Law, Ancil Sallee and Bill Hord; Sisters-In-Law Reta Jenkins, Bonnie McMillan (Michael), Connie Patriquin (Gary), and Sharon Hohlfeld (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as special friends Jim and Fay Tracey.

   Bob graduated from the University of Missouri at Rolla with a B.S. in Electrical Egineering in 1965, a M.S. EE in 1966, and a Ph. D. EE in 1968.

   Bob worked in the aluminum business all his career. In 1988 he moved to Ripley working at Kaiser Aluminum and retired from Alcan in 2000. He consulted with Alcan until 2005. 

   Bob was a member of IEEE and the NRA. He was a professional  engineer registered in Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Bob volunteered with Habitat for Humnaity for many years.

   A private funeral mass will be held at a later date with inurnment in Carty Cemetery near Salem, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Hospice Organizations or Habitat for Humanity.  Waybright Funeral Home is assisting the Peirson family.
