H. Alleene Carper, 82, of Ripley, went home to be with the Lord, her beloved son Kevin, and her husband Willard, on July 30, 2017.

Alleene was born in Roane County, March 31, 1935 to the late Oral and Eva Smith Devrick. Ray Gillespie, who raised Alleene, and her sister, Betty Devrick, also proceeded Alleene in death.

Alleene was married to the late Willard Carper, and together they raised two children, Debbie J. McKinney (Carper) and Kevin Carper.  Alleene worked at, and retired from, the United National Bank of Ripley, and volunteered in the auxiliary at Jackson General Hospital where she served with many of her life long friends.

Alleene was a member of the Ripley Tabernacle Church, her home second only to her heavenly home where she now resides  with her loved ones who have gone before.

Mom, Mamaw, Ninny, or friend; Alleene was faithful and kind to everyone she met in this life. She loved unconditionally.

Alleene was a prayer warrior, always praying passionately for family and friends. It was her heart’s desire to see her family and friends come to know her heavenly Father, whom she loved so much.

Her final prayer request on earth:  “I pray each of you have a good life and live for the Lord.  I Love each of you so much ~ Mom, Mamaw & Ninny.”

Alleene is survived by her daughters, Debbie Carper McKinney (Ray); Dreama Carper Robertson (Larry); Grandchildren, Scott Ranson (Krista), Jason Ranson (Courtney), Nick McKinney (Tashina), Nathan McKinney, Hugh Robertson, Sean Robertson, Robin Robertson Turner; Great Grandchildren, Chance Ranson, Micah Ranson, Klay Ranson, Jaxson Ranson, Nolan McKinney.
