Ellen Darlene Livingston, 59, of Ravenswood, WV passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Mount Carmel Hospital, Columbus, OH.
She was born January 9, 1958 at Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Lloyd and Velma Landis Nuzum. Ellen was a proud American who earned 4 medals and 2 ribbons while serving her country during Desert Storm as a soldier in the United States Army. She was a 2 time cancer survivor with the determination to never let it win. She was a devoted mother to her 4 children and a beloved sister to her many siblings.
She is survived by her children Angela Dawn King-Moyer, Michelle Nichole Smith, John Robert Livingston II, and Emily Renae Livingston; Siblings Lewis Warren Nuzum, Janice Arlene Stephenson, Patricia Faye McVay, David Stephen Nuzum, Wanda May Wilson, Helen Charlene Nuzum, Samuel Ezra Nuzum (Teresa), and Mary Dianne Belcher (Jimmy). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings James Lloyd Nuzum, Beulah Lee White, Daniel Isaac Nuzum, and Harold Kerby Nuzum.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Junior Conger officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial with Military Rites provided by the Jackson County Honor Guard will be held in the Ravenswood Cemetery.
