Constellium's Ravenswood Facility received the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Industrial Energy Efficiency during the annual West Virginia Industries of the Future (IOF) luncheon held recently at the West Virginia Cultural Center on the Capitol grounds in Charleston.
Senior Environmental Engineer, Gary Roark, Reliability and Engineering Manager, Vic Rose, and CEO, Kyle Lorentzen, were on hand to receive the award.
"A number of years ago, we went through an energy audit conducted by WVU, in participation with the IOF program and the U.S. Department of Energy. The audit identified a number of actions, many of which we undertook, allowing us to drastically cut our energy costs and to use our various sources of energy more efficiently. The framed award will soon be on display in the Admin building lobby," Constellium officials said in a released statement.
