Harvest Baptist Miracle School classes

PETERSBURG — The Harvest Baptist Church, 1017 W. Washington Street, resumed the Divine Biblical Revelation Miracle School weeknight classes on Sept. 12 and will meet from 6-8 p.m. each Thursday. Elder P. Richardson and Apostle M. Bonner are the instructors. Classes are free. The classes this semester will focus on “How To Receive Your Miracle" and “Discovering My Wealthy Place”.

Starting today, the Divine Biblical Revelation Miracle School, 1017 W. Washington St., is resuming fall weekend classes. Today the class will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The next fall weekend class will be held on Sunday, Sept. 30, from 2-4 p.m. Anyone desiring transportation is invited to call 804-861-2850 (Monday-Friday). Future classes will be held on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2-4 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 25, 2-4 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 23, 2-4 p.m.

 

Yom Kippur

PETERSBURG — Congregation Brith Achim, 314 W South Blvd., will hold Yom Kippur services on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 18-19. All are welcome to attend. No tickets required.

'Shoppin' for Whit'

COLONIAL HEIGHTS — Jessica Moser and Life Christian Academy will sponsor "Shoppin' for Whit", a vendor fundraiser for a local boy battling leukemia. The event is being held from 1-4 p.m. today at Life Christian Academy, 16801 Harrowgate Road.

More than 20 vendors will participate. There will be opportunities for shopping, raffles, and food. Admission is free.
