The West Virginia State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the perpetrators who purloined six "port-a-potties" from a local plant recently.
The raunchy rip-off occurred sometime between 4-6 p.m. on May 28 at the Constellium Plant off of Route 2 in Jackson County, according to Cpl. B.A. Chandler of the Ripley Detachment of the West Virginia State Police.
A security foreman captured some blurry images on a truck-mounted camera that takes photos at 10-minute intervals. The photos were taken at 6:07 p.m. Monday, May 28. The photos show a truck, possibly a black Chevrolet, loaded with the purportedly pilfered port-a-potties.
The truck in question was traveling toward Ripley on Route 62 when the photos were taken, apparently sometime after the putrid pinching occurred.
Anyone with information on the funky filchers who fleeced the potty plunder is asked to call Chandler at 304-372-7850.
