Ravenswood 17—Tyler Consolidated 7

  Senior Jake Greene got the pitching win for the Red Devils in the first game Saturday, tossing 1.2 inning with three strikeouts, one walk and no hits allowed.  

 Chase Swain threw 4.1 innings, fanning six, walking four and scattering three hits with five runs (four earned).

 Greene helped his own cause going 1-for-2 with a home run, four RBIs and three runs scored. Chase Swain went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored; Stephen Dawson, 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and two runs scored; Ciah Kennedy, 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored; Blake Bennett, 2-for-4 with a  double, two RBIs and two runs scored;  Lakin Tucker, 2-for-5 with an RBI and run scored; Andrew Anglin, 1-for-2 with a double, RBI and two runs scored; and Luke Miller, 1-for-3 with an RBI and run scored.

 

Ravenswood 14—Tyler Consolidated 2

 Senior Stephens Dawson hurled four innings for the win in the second game Saturday, fanning five, walking four and scattering two hits with one run allowed. 

 Hayden Swain tossed one inning, fanning none, walking one and scattering two hits with one run allowed.

  At the plate, Blake Bennett led the Devils with a 3-for-3 game including a home run, five RBIs and four runs scored. Chase Swain went 3-for-4 with a double, four RBIs and a run scored; Jake Greene, 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored; Stephen Dawson, 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored; Lakin Tucker, 2-for-4 with two runs scored; Ciah Kennedy, 1-for-2 with a double and run scored; and Luke Miller, 1-for-3 with two runs scored.

 

Ravenswood 21—Buffalo 1

 On Friday, Lakin Tucker got the pitching win, tossing four innings with six strikeouts, no walks, four hits allowed with one run.  

 Hayden Swain threw one inning with two strikeouts and no walks.

 At the plate, Tucker went 3-for-4 with two doubles, four RBIs and two runs scored. Blake Bennett was 3-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and four runs scored; Jake Greene, 2-for-2 with a home run and double, three RBIs and three runs scored; Luke Miller, 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored; Chase Swain, 2-for-3 with a  double, RBI and two runs scored; Andrew Anglin, 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored; Ethan Mahan, 1-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored; and Alecx Gwynn, 1-for-1 with an RBI.

 

Ravenswood 9—Pt. Pleasant 4

  The Red Devils avenged an earlier defeat by taking down visiting Pt., Pleasant, 9-4, on Thursday at Wright Field.

Senior Ethan Mahan got the pitching win, firing five innings with six strikeouts, three walks, six hits and four runs (three earned) allowed. 

 Kenley Hickman threw two innings, fanning three and walking two.

  At the plate, Chase Swain led the Devils, going 3-for-3 with a home run, double, three RBIs and two runs scored. Ciah Kennedy was 2-for-2 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored; Luke Miller, 2-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored; Blake Bennett, 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored; and Jake Greene, 1-for-3 with a double and RBI. Ethan Mahan, Lakin Tucker and Andrew Anglin added one single each.
