Coach Wes Swain’s diamond Red Devils picked up a pair of blwout wins last week in the road.

  Thursday on the road, the Red Devils blew out host Wirt County, 20-0, with a  15-hit onslaught.

  Kenley Hickman got the pitching win, going three innings with five strikeouts, one walk and two hits allowed. Hayden Swain came on in relief to throw two innings, fanning four, walking two and allowing now hits over two innings.

At the plate, Chase Swain and Blake Bennett each wsent 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs. Swain scored three times and Bennett twice. Jake Greene added a double and three RBIs; Hayden Swain, a double and run scored; and Stephen Dawson (2 RBIs, 3 runs scored) and  Luke Miller (2 RBIs, run scored), two hits each. Lakin Tucker, Ethan Mahan, Kenley Hickman, Austin Anderson and Ben Queen chipped in one hit each. Ciah Kennedy added a pair of RBIs and 2 runs scored.

 On Wednesday at Parkersburg, the Red Devils took down host Parkersburg Catholic, 13-3.

Stephens Dawson got the pitching win in relief of starter Chase Swain. Swain went two innings with one strikeout, one walk, and no hits allowed. Dawson went five innings, fanning four, walking three and scattering two hits with three runs (one earned).

At the plate, Blake Bennett went 2-for-4 with three runs scored. Chase Swain went 2-for-5 with three RBIs. Jake Greene (3 RBIs, run scored), Ciah Kennedy (RBI, 2 runs scored) and Luke Miller (RBI, runs scored) added a double each.
