On Friday (July 21, 2017), USW Local 5668 members ratified a new five-year labor agreement with Constellium Rolled Products, LLC, in Ravenswood. The agreement runs from September 19, 2017 until September 19, 2022.

On Friday (July 21, 2017), USW Local 5668 members ratified a new five-year labor agreement with Constellium Rolled Products, LLC, in Ravenswood. The agreement runs from September 19, 2017 until September 19, 2022.

Reports indicate the margin of ratification was 407-315.

In a statement, the company said they are pleased with the agreement which is expected to secure the sustainability and future of the Ravenswood plant.   

The facility currently employs over 1,100 people including 827 USW members.

In a statement, Buddy Stemple, CEO of Constellium Rolled Products, LLC, said, “ We have a highly skilled and committed workforce and are very pleased that we could reach an agreement that is beneficial for our customers, our employees, and the long-term future of our plant. I thank bothbargaining units for their tireless efforts and dedication to reach this agreement. We look forward to continuing to safely manufacture high quality products for our customers, with the same commitment to give back and contribute to our communities.”
