RAVENSWOOD - A Ravenswood man faces felony charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (ice), following his arrest May 27.

Robert Logan Gorman, 26, of Ravenswood, was subsequently arrested after a search warrant served on his apartment disclosed items used in the illegal distribution of narcotics.

Gorman was located at The Landing at around 10:30 p.m. on May 27 by Ravenswood Police Patrolman S.C, Fisher, and found to be carrying a small semiautomatic handgun in his pocket.

Upon being told a search of his residence was in progress, Gorman allegedly admitted to having “ice (crystal methamphetamine)” in his safe and provided key to the safe.

Discovered in Gorman’s apartment by RvPD Sgt. J.B. Thompson and other officers were five sets of digital scales, plastic baggies, a ledger and a distribution amount of crystal substance believed to be “ice.”

Gorman was arrested and remains lodged in the South Central Regional Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
