JACKSON COUNTY - Three Jackson County schools will have new principals in the fall as James G. “Jimmy” Frashier takes over at Ravenswood High School,  Jeffrey Haskins takes over at Ravenswood Middle School and Melissa Browning takes over at Fairplain Elementary School. Those administrative transfers were approved by the Jackson County Board of Education at their regular session on Thursday evening.

Frashier replaces retiring Principal Jo Hendricks as chief administrator at Ravenswood High School. Frashier has served as Vice Principal under Hendricks  at RvHS.

Haskins replaces retiring Principal Gary Higginbotham at Ravenswood Middle School. Haskins previously served as Vice Principal at Ripley Middle School. 

Browning moves to the Principal position at Fairplain Elementary School from her previous assignment as Vice Principal at Ripley Middle School.
