A traffic stop on Joe Short Drive in Ravenswood last Wednesday led to the arrest of man on drug and other charges who was free on bond for previous drug charges.

Ravenswood Police Sgt. David Prechtl was on duty Washington Street. A license check revealed the plate should have been on a 1975 Ford.
Sgt. Prechtl and Ravenswood Patrolman Thompson stopped the Neon for improper registration at the entrance to the Station Apartments.
The driver was identified as Kyle M. Carmichael who was allegedly nervous and stated he did not have a driver’s license.
