COTTAGEVILLE – Jackson County Relay for Life is set to begin at 6 p.m. on June 20 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds, and coordinator Denise Toler says the excitement and participation is rising.
To date, 33 teams and 268 total participants have registered to take part in the event. So far, $30,7,45.19 has already been raised for cancer research.

More cancer survivors are signing up to be part of the fund-raising event. Survivors will lead the first lap in the relay.
Grand Marshall for Jackson County Relay for Life 2014 is Hazel Brammer, Junior Grand Marshall is Brooklyn Hively.
