RIPLEY - Six individuals face methamphetamine charges, after a long-term investigation culminated early Friday morning with a pair of traffic stops and the execution of search warrants at two Ripley residences and a third at Sandyville.
Arrested were Jennifer L. Hicks, 34, of Ripley; Darrell L. Hicks, 36, of Ripley; Joseph D. Lathey, 37, of Ripley; Jeremy A. Jordan, 36, of Sandyville; William F. Sharp, 35, of Ripley; and Nicole D. Hayes, 35, of Ripley.

The coordinated operation included officers from both the Ravenswood and Ripley Police Departments and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department. Participating were Ripley PD officers Brad Anderson, Brian Anderson, Mike Cummmings and Jamie Hart; Ravenswood Police officers Bobby Knox and Brandon Thompson; and JCSRD detectives Ross Mellinger and Eric Cullen and officers Todd Roberts, Bryan Varney, Lucas Casto, Roger Rhodes and Court Officer Steve Anderson.
Methamphetamine ingredients and lab paraphernalia were seized at all three residences. Finished meth was seized at both the Hicks and Lathey residences with marijuana seized at the Jordan residence.

The Hickses, Lathey and Jordan were charged with operating or attempting to operate a clandestine meth lab. Bond was set at $250,000 each.
Hayes and Sharp were taken into custody after the initial arrests were made, and were charged with purchasing an item to be used as a precursor to manufacturing methamphetamine.
