  • Ihle wins nomination, two committee seats

  • RAVENSWOOD – Michael Ihle’s political plate is about to become even more full.
    Not only is Ihle enjoying his first term as Mayor of Ravenswood, but in Tuesday’s Primary Election unofficial results, Ihle appears to have locked up one of the two Republican nominations for House of Delegates, 13th District.
    Incumbent Delegate Scott Cadle appears to be the top vote-getter with 1,028 (32%), while Ihle is second with 792 votes (25%). Tim Gibson garnered 720 votes (23%) and Nathan “Nate” Westfall totaling 643 votes (20%) with 37 of 37 precincts—nine in Jackson County, 12 in Mason County and 16 in Putnam County--reporting.
    Ihle was the top vote-getter in Jackson County rolling up 359 votes (45.4%). Scott Cadle totaled 260 votes with Nathan “Nate” Westfall totaling 90 votes and Tim Gibson totaling 81.
    In addition, Ihle won election as a State Republican Executive Committee Male for the 4th Senatorial District with a whopping 1,405 votes. Michel G. Moffat garnered 899 votes to also claim a committee seat.
    Ihle also won election as a County Republican Executive Committee Male from the Northern District with 430 of the 436 votes cast.
