  • Woman charged after running over another

  • WILDING - A Jackson County woman faces malicious wounding and child neglect charges, following a domestic altercation at Wilding Acres Mobile Home Park Friday night that left another woman in critical condition. The victim was apparently run over by a truck, dragged and then dragged in reverse by the suspect vehicle.
    Jillian C. Sayre, 34, was arrested following the altercation that spun out of control.
    According to Jackson County Sheriff’s Department investigators and witnesses, Sayre allegedly began ramming a 2003 Dodge Caravan containing two adults and two children with her 2005 Ford Ranger pickup truck. There were apparently three passenger’s in Sayre’s truck at the time of the attack including two children and a teenager.
     In the process, Sayre allegedly hit Mary Hart and dragged her some 40 feet, then allegedly put her truck in reverse and dragged Hart some 20 more feet.
    Bystanders were eventually able to stop Sayre’s vehicle.
    The victim was subsequently airlifted for treatment of severe injuries.
    Sayre was subsequently charged with malicious wounding and four counts of child neglect. She remains lodged in the South Central Regional Jail in lieu of bond and further court action.
