WILLIAMSTOWN – Sierra King twirled a three-hit shutout Tuesday as the host Yellow Jackets blanked Ravenswood’s Devilettes, 8-0.

Seven Devilette errors aided the Jacket cause.

The Jackets jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back, adding a run in the second, two more in the third and one final run in the fifth to end the game via the mercy rule.

King (RBI) helped herself by going 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Jackets eight-hit attack. Ashton Chancellor added a double and RBI.

For the Devilettes, Katie Buckbee socked a triple, Sidnee Morgan a double and Claudia Cubides a single.

King fanned four and walked one  while allowing three hits over the five innings.
