  • RIPLEY - Law enforcement was sent to the Ripley Tudor’s Biscuit World at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Monday, January 13.
The call came after remote security cameras monitoring the business showed items on the floor. Dispatch then notified Ripley Officers J. L. Hart and R.A “Andy” Williams who arrived at the scene within moments of each other.
According to Hart, it was believed that someone might still possibly be inside the restaurant.  Law enforcement officers from the Jackson County Sheriff’s and WV State Police arrived at the scene to assist with the investigation.
When the store manager, arrived it was verified that an undisclosed amount of money was missing.
A review of the security recording showed the image of a male inside the store, who apparently made entry through the drive-thru window. The individual caught on the security system was tentatively identified as Christopher Jenkins.
At press time, Jenkins had  not been apprehended and is still on the run.
