  • The Jackson County Players and Cedar Lakes will once again collaborate to offer a dinner theater experience during the conference center’s Winterfest celebration. The dinner theater will be presented December 13 and 14 at 6:30 pm. Tickets will be available at Ripley Library and Cedar Lakes from November 12 through December 10, as long as available. Tickets are $15.
The one-act play, Christmas Choir, is about a church choir that has never sounded worse! Perhaps it’s because of a lack of talent or not enough rehearsals... or it could be because the choir members aren’t sincere in their reasons for being there. Fast lines fly in this zany send-up of human nature. The good-hearted volunteer choir director thinks the only way to get someone to bless this group is if they all sneezed at the same time! Find out how a young preacher helps the choir find harmony and the true meaning of Christmas in this fast-paced Christmas comedy.
The play stars John Hoffman, Cam Matheny, Leslie Haynes, Aaron Haynes, Angie Crank, Suzy McGinley, Jamielynn Fradella, Suzette Lowe, Teresa Kerns, Sara Drennen, Chase Jarrell, and Mark McCommas and is directed by Marie McCauley.
