  • Devilettes split tri-match with Doddridge, Point

  • RAVENSWOOD - Ravenswood’s Red Devilettes (12-9) split a home tri-match Tuesday night, losing to Doddrige County (25-22, 25-23) and beating Pt. Pleasant (25-13, 21-25, 25-15).
    In the loss to Doddridge, Katie Buckbee led the Devilettes with 11 points. Michaela Hughes added nine, Bayli Manns eight, Lauren Hoff five, Natalie Francis five, and Tia Querrey and Jordan Strickland two each.
    Natalie Francis was the top server at 13-13 (one ace). Hughes served four aces and Manns two. Hughes led in passing at 22/35. Querrey was 45/47 in sets. Buckbee was the top spiker at 16/16 (seven kills). Manns had five blocks and Hoff one.
    Alissa Davis paced the Bulldogs with 11points. Lacy Perkins had 21 sets and Sarah Ferguson was the top spiker with 16 (five kills).
    In the win over Pt. Pleasant, Buckbee led the way with 17 points. Francis added 16, Hughes eight, Manns and Hoff seven each, Querrey six and Strickland and Comer two each.
    Francis was the top server at 17/18 (five aces). Buckbee was the top passer at 30/35. Querrey was the top setter at 67/72. Buckbee led in spiking at 17/20 (nine kills). Francis had five kills, Manns four and Hoff and Hughes three each. Hoff had four blocks and Manns one.Michaela Cottrill led the Lady Knights with 12 points.
    The Devilettes play a crucial LKC tri-match at Ritchie County tonight (Thursday) with Williamstown.
