RAVENSWOOD - Ravenswood youth football had a rough weekend. The visiting Ripley Vikings walked away with wins in all three games. C team lost 18-0; B team fell 46-0; and the A team went down 26-12.

On the C-Team, Ravenswood’s Hunter Anthony ran eight times for 49 yards and completed one of two passes for 2 yards. Robert Shockey had four carries for seven yards and a catch for two yards; Todd Greene carried twice for 10 yards; Matthew Carte had three carries for 13 yards; and Kaden West managed five yards on three carries.

On defense, Hunter Anthony led the team with 10 tackles.
Deondre Briggs had seven tackles; Robert Shockey, Kaden West, and Jordan Varney each had 5 tackles. Jordan Varney also forced a fumble that was recovered by Kaleb White.
Matthew Carte had four tackles including a sack. Jacob Bowling had two tackles, and Austin Vannest and Luke Lowry each added one tackle.

Leading the Ravenswood B-Team on offense was Nick Eskew with 35 yards on five carries and a one-yard reception. Ashton Miller had five runs for 18 yards; and Iann Barton added six yards on 12 carries and was 1-1 passing for one yard.
Jaden Sayre picked up two yards on two carries. Also running the ball was Isaiah Johns and Ethan Tanner. Ethan Tanner also recovered a fumble.

On defense, Ashton Miller led the team with eight tackles. Isaiah Casto had seven tackles; James Stephenson racked up six tackles; Iann Barton and Ethan Tanner added three tackles each; Nick Eskew and William Barnett managed two tackles each; and also getting tackles were Brett Parsons, Jaden Sayre, Jacob Cobberly, David Moore and Blake Ball.
The A-team tried to mount a fourth-quarter comeback but fell short.

Jacob Tanner was all over the field, running the ball eight times for 63 yards, catching one pass for 14 yards while adding three fumble recoveries. Jacob Hatcher was 8 for 12 passing with 66 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, and also ran the ball five times. Jacob Anthony ran three times for three yards and had six catches for 40 yards.
Aaron Lively had a 12-yard touchdown catch, and Caleb Eskew also had a touchdown catch of 16 yards.

Clay Tanner was 1-1 passing with a 16-yard touchdown throw. Also running the ball were Jaycob Creel and Cody Smith.
Wayne Stephenson led the defense with 10 tackles. Jacob Anthony had nine tackles including two sacks; Jacob Tanner had seven tackles with two sacks. Zach Graham had six tackles and Jamie Cambron had four tackles.
With three tackles each were Jaycob Creel, Caleb Eskew, Jacob Hatcher, Ryan Wratchford, Riley LeMaster and Parker O’Brien. Aaron Lively and Chase Hood each added one tackle and Cody Smith picked up a sack.
On Sunday, the Red Devils travel to Belpre to take on the Golden Eagles.
