Paulette Conrad, 57, of Ripley, received a permanent set of angel wings Sunday, August 25, 2013. Paulette passed away at CAMC General following a sudden illness.
She was born on April 8, 1956 at Ripley, daughter of the late Harry and Gladys Garrett Westfall. A lifelong homemaker, she was also formerly employed for several years as a housekeeper for a local motel. Paulette enjoyed sewing, playing solitaire on the computer, watching the cooking channel, bird watching from her kitchen window and she loved those scratch off lottery tickets. Her favorite hobby was going to the dirt track to watch her son Vince race.
Surviving: Husband, Charles Lee Conrad of Ripley, who was the love of her life for the last 41 years; Daughter, Debbra Conrad Jones (Tracy) of Sandyville; Son, Charles Vincent Conrad (Megan Fields) of Ripley; Sisters, Wanda Westfall Jackson (Archie), Judy Westfall Suek (John); Brothers, Eugene Hughes (Anita), Junior Westfall (Delcie) and Kenna Westfall (Donna); Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Paulette was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Conrad Staats, in February.
A funeral service honoring the life of Paulette Conrad is set for Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Eley officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
