EASTWOOD – Senior captains pat Berry and Dalton Gandee each scored a hat trick (three goals) and Pat “Patches” Boggs added his first goal of the season as Coach Todd Murray’s Red Devils held off the visiting Scott Skyhawks, 7-4.

The win moved Ravenswood to 2-1 on the season and handed the Skyhawks (1-1) their first loss.
Boggs’ first goal was the first score of the game for the Red Devils.

Brett Johnson notched three assists in the game, and Nate Schiefer, Dalton Phillips, Jeremy Butler and Anthony Boggs added one assist each.

Goal keeper Tyler Harmon had 12 saves in the game for Ravenswood.

Ryan Cowan, Donovan Moore, Nick Raby and Brandon Latoduci scored one goal each for the Skyhawks.
“We allowed a lot of goals in this game b ut I really got to play my non-starters a lot more,” said Coach Murray. “The important part is preparing these players and the rest of the team for future games and future seasons. Allowing four goals is upsetting, but needed four our young players to do well in future games.

“Pat Boggs played a great game. He covered a lot of the field and was very aggressive all game long. Toward the end of the game, he sven had a great save. Keeper Tyler Haromon came out for a save, and was beaten but Pat had his back and blocked the shot short of the goal.”
