    KEYSER, WV – Paul H. "Pete" Boehmes, 77, of Keyser, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013, at his residence.
    Born on January 11, 1936 in Keyser, he was a son of the late Harold Marvin and Roseann (Shearer) Boehmes. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald.
    Pete was a 1953 graduate of Keyser High School, attended Potomac State College and was a U.S. Army veteran of Korean Conflict. He was a member of Graced United Methodist Church, life member and past post commander of VFW Post 6775, Queen's Point, McCoole, Rural Postal Carrier Union and former member of Keyser Fire Department. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, which was a big part of his life.
    Surviving are his wife, Anna Lee; his daughter, Monica & husband Danny; his son, Lowell & wife Vicky; his brother, Richard & wife Diane; his grandchildren, Terra and Tristen, Kerry and Michael and Shay Ann; and his great-grandchildren, Daimion, Molly, Raelynn and Dylan. Surviving also are his niece, Megan and Tyler and sisters-in-law, Jean and Grace.
    Friends were received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, on Sunday, July 28, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be no funeral services.
