According to District Three Maintenance Engineer Dave Braham of the West Virginia Division of Highways there will be a planned closure of Jackson County Route 30/1 Round Knob road on Tuesday, July 23 for a culvert replacement.
The closure is located at mile post .52, about a half a mile from the junction of Jackson County rt. 30. The roadway is expected to be closed from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. through Thursday July 25. Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the work schedule.
Motorists are asked to take an alternate route such as Jackson County 32/8 Kay Hollow Road.
