The West Virginia Division of Highways announces that there will be lane closures on I-77 northbound and southbound between Ravenswood and Ripley due to a paving project scheduled to begin on Monday (July 15, 2013),
According to Michael Foley, District Three Construction Engineeer, that paving project begins at milepost 141.92, located approximately one mile north of the Jackson County Route 12/5 (Crooked Run Road) overpass and ends at the junction of WV 2 (milepost 145.96).
Crews will be working Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day. Motorists are asked to slow down while traveling through the work zone and observe the direction of all traffic control devices.
WV paving is the contractor for the project, which includes milling, potholes and join repairs and resurfacaing. It is scheduled for completion on or before August 30, 2013.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
