The youth program that lets students explore career opportunities in the healthcare field is going strong.  Although the participant numbers were low at the last meeting due to various community-related activities that students are involved in, the ones that were present certainly enjoyed a treat.  Two of our long-time Radiology Staff Members, Steve Radabaugh & Roger Roush, gave an excellent presentation on Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, Sonography, MRI, CT Scans, Bone Density, Mammography and more.  The group toured through the Radiology Department and saw first hand the equipment used as the processes were explained.  For these young people, seeing all the machinery and having it explained by the professionals that use them everyday, was an invaluable learning experience.  JGH is proud to have such dedicated employees who volunteer their personal time to bring awareness to careers in their field and encourage higher education!
