The Jackson County Division of Highways will close the Sandy Creek Bridge at milepost 145,78, northbound only for will be subject to single lanes due to bridge inspection on Monday April 22. Single lane closures are expected between the hours of 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Motorists' traveling on I-77 will not experience any significant delays but are asked to reduce their speed and follow the directions of traffic devices and use caution through the work zone.
Also on Monday, April 22 the Jackson County Division of Highways will have a paving project in which WV Paving is the contractor for the project. The project begins at milepost 137.91at the US 33 overpass and ends .97 miles north of Jackson CR 12/5 overpass mile 141.91which is scheduled for completion on or before June 28. Crews will be working Monday- Friday during daylight hours but single lane closures, north and southbound are expected through the duration of the project.
Inclement weather or unforeseen changes could change the project schedules of both projects.
