Beatrice “Betsy” Frum Caltrider, 82, of Williamstown, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 15, 1930, in Williamstown a daughter of Mary Elizabeth Page Frum and Carlton Truman Frum.
Betsy was a graduate of Williamstown High School Class of 1948 and Ohio Valley College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management.
She was a member of Williamstown Woman’s Club, co-chaired Williamstown Wetlands Preservationist. In addition She was member of Musettes and was a member of Gilman United Methodist Church where she created the after school program.
On April 16, 1949, she married Wade D. Caltrider who survives along with 3 daughters: Debra (David) Penrose, of Centennial, CO, Dacie (Stephen) Ash ofMarietta; Daryn (Jeff) Deem of Ripley, WV; 7 grandchildren: Elizabeth Penrose (Craig) Beckman, Eryn Penrose, Logan P. (Misty) Ash, Lexi Ash, Ethan Ash, Preston Deem, Parker Deem; 4 great grandchildren, Peyton Beckman, Haston Penrose, Ari Beckers, Addison Ash.
She is also survived by her brother Robert C. Frum, sister Barbara Bever, sister-in-law Dorothy Frum and many nieces an nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Darrelyn, grandson, Evan Morgan Penrose and brother C.William Frum.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday March 6 at Gilman United Methodist Church. Pastor Diann O’Bryant officiated. Friends called at the church until the hour of the service.
McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
