  • Grand Jury returns 30 indictments

  • The February Jackson Circuit Court Grand Jury returned 30 indictments last week after deliberating for two days on presentments by new Prosecuting Attorney Kenny Skeen and assistants. The majority of those named in the indictments answered charges in the Ripley circuit courtroom Thursday and Friday.

  • The February Jackson Circuit Court Grand Jury returned 30 indictments last week after deliberating for two days on presentments by new Prosecuting Attorney Kenny Skeen and assistants. The majority of those named in the indictments answered charges in the Ripley circuit courtroom Thursday and Friday.
    Those indicted include:
    • Dustin S. Gibson of Ripley was indicted in one felony count of attempting to operate a clandestine laboratory and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony.
    • Chelsea F. Jett of Ripley was indicted in one felony count of attempting to operate a clandestine laboratory and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond was set at $15,000.
    • Cassie B. Monday of Leroy was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance-oxycodone and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond was set at $10,000.
    • Christopher E. Strickler of Ripley was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance-oxycodone and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Warrant issued. Bond was set at $10,000.
    • Bryan G. Rhodes II of Ripley was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance-oxycodone. Warrant issued. Bond set at $10,000.
    • Danielle S. Devault was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance-oxycodone and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Warrant issued. Bond set at $10,000.
    • William S. Devault was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance-oxycodone and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Warrant issued. Bond set at $10,000.
    • Leslie Martin of Evans was indicted on two felony counts of gross child neglect. Bond set at $5,000.
    • Randall A. Smith was indicted on three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance-oxycodone and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond transferred.
    • Christopher L. Jackson was indicted on three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance-oxycodone and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond transferred.
    • Bryan S. Abshire was indicted on three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance-oxycodone and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond transferred.
    • William M. Mullins of Elkview was indicted on one felony count of grand larceny and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Warrant issued.
    • Joel A. Gibbs of Ravenswood was indicted on one felony county of possession of stolen vehicle and one felony count of grand larceny. Bond combined at $25,000.
    • Edward Michael Tierney of Kenna was indicted on one felony count of uttering. Bond continued.
    • Jessica A. Ray of Ripley was indicted on one felony count of forgery, one felony count of fraudulent schemes and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond continued.

    • David L. Trimble of Cottageville was indicted on one count of driving revoked for DUI-third offense and one count of operative an all-terrain vehicle on a highway with a center line. Bond continued.
    • David Lee Trimble of Cottageville was indicted on one felony county of delivery of a controlled substance-oxycodone. Bond continued.
    • Edward Michael Tierney of Kenna was indicted on one felony count of forgery, one felony count of fraudulent schemes and two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond continued.
    • Jessica Lynne Hartley of Ripley was indicted on one felony count of forgery, one felony count of fraudulent schemes and two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond continued.
    • Denver D. Baker III of Mt. Holly, NC, was indicted on one county of attempting to commit a felony and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond continued.
    • Kathy Joanne Stover of Winfield was indicted on one felony count of grand larceny and oen count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Summons issued.
    • Joe Edward Tate of Evans was indicted on three felony counts of threats of terroristic acts. Bond $300,000.
    • Joseph Edward Tate of Evans was indicted on two felony counts of gross child neglect. Bond $300,000.
    • Dustin James Mullins of Ravenswood was indicted on one felony count of soliciting, enticing, seducing or attempting to solicit, entice or seduce a minor via computer and one count of attempting to commit a felony. Bond continued.
    • Leonard L. Steele of Charleston was indicted on four felony counts of sexual assault in the first degree and four felony counts of sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust. Bond reduced to $100,000.
    • Joel Adam Gibbs of Ravenswood was indicted in one felony count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond set at $25,000.
    • Edward Allen Fields of Spencer was indicted on one felony count of breaking and entering other than a dwelling and one felony count of grand larceny. Bond continued.
    • Jerry Wayne Seabolt of Cottageville was indicted on two felony counts of DUI-third offense, two felony counts of driving revoked for DUI, one misdemeanor count of DUI with minors in a motor vehicle and one misdemeanor count of driving without insurance. Bond $30,000.
    • Zachery Steven Walker of Ripley was indicted on two felony counts of sexual assault in the first degree, 15 felony counts of sexual abuse in the first degree and 17 felony counts of sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust. Bond $100,000.
