Berry (24-14) faced Tyler Rohrbaugh (32-15) in the second round of consolation at 170 pounds in AA-A at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington. • In AAA at 182 pounds, Ripley's Martin Kuhl (13-18) closed out his state tournament run with a consolation loss via pin to Carter Capehart of Huntington in 2:15. • At 195, Greg Medina (28-7) became the fifth Viking into the championship semifinal set for Friday night with a 6-1 decision over Joey Fernandez of Martinsburg. Medina will take on Terrance Fanning (42-3) of Preston for a spot in Saturday's championship final. • At 220, Freddie Roush (7-4) lost via fall in 2:29 to Tyler Riddle of Parkersburg in the championship quarterfinals and faced Derek Estep (32-1) of Musselmann in consolation. * At 285, Daryl Hicks (31-2) became the sixth Viking in the championship semifinals with a 5-2 decision over Preston Wise of Brooke in the championship quarterfinals. Hicks faces Thomas Hall (8-2) of Parkersburg South in tonight's semifinals for a berth in Saturday night;s championship finals.
