James Donald Wolfe, 78, of Evans, WV, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013, at his home.
He was born May 31, 1934, in Union Furnace, OH, a son of the late Edward Blaine and Mary Elizabeth (Keffer) Wolfe. His wife, Rosamond (Mace) Wolfe; brothers, French, Ernest, Harold, Denver, Herman, Edward Jr., and Wayne Wolfe; sisters, Estelle Conley, Hazel Turner, Dorothy Rider, and Mabel Wolfe, and a daughter-in-law, Virginia Wolfe, also preceded him in death.
He was a United State Army veteran.
He was also the owner and operator of Jim’s Radiator Service, Ripley, WV, from 1963 until he retired in 2000. He was a loving father and steadfast friend. He enjoyed dancing with his long time friend, Betty Ratliff.
Survivors include his children, Katherine Hupp of Sandyville, Kevin Wolfe of Given, and Christina Haeuptle of Rocklin, CA; grandsons, Shane Hupp and Jan-Lukas Haeuptle; great grandsons, Logan Hupp and Ethan Hupp; sister, Virginia White of Columbus, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013, at the Asbury United Methodist Church, Starr Township, OH, with Pastor Walter Goble and Pastor Sheryl Goble officiating.
Burial will follow in the Asbury Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV.
