  • Recent action on cases in Jackson Circuit Court includes:
    • Colten G. Asbury had an evidentiary hearing on return from the Anthony Center upheld. He was sentenced to 12 months in the regional jail for domestic battery to be served concurrently with a sentence of 1-5 years in prison for possession of counterfeit bills.
    • Sampson Gibson had his sentence suspended and was placed in three years probation.
    • Danny Conner had his sentence for nighttime burglary suspended and was placed in three years probation.
    • Marshall Joel Seabolt was sentenced to one year in the regional jail for battery with credit for time served, fined $500 ordered to pay court costs.
    • Kelly Gillespie had probation revoked and will be sentenced January 28.
    • Roger C. Shinn II was sentenced to 1-3 years in prison for DUI-third offense, fined $3,000 and ordered to pay court costs.
