  • Former Ripley Police Officer George Michale Puskas II, 31, filed bond paperwork in U.S. District Court Wednesday for release from jail on a $10,000 unsecured bond.

  • Former Ripley Police Officer George Michale Puskas II, 31, filed bond paperwork in U.S. District Court Wednesday for release from jail on a $10,000 unsecured bond.
    Puskas II, 31, was arrested by U.S. Federal Marshals recently in Ripley and lodged in the South Central Regional Jail.
    Puskas faces federal charges alleging solicitation of a minor for the purpose of producing a visual depiction of sexually explict conduct, receiving child pornography and possession of child pornography.
    As conditions of the bond, Puskas will have to reside with his father and must continue to seek employment or education, avoid all contact with the juvenile female victim or any witness in the federal case against him, not possess a firearm or other weapon, not use alcohol excessively, not possess drugs and submit for testing if required, observe a 10 p.m.-6 a.m. curfew, submit to location monitoring and other rules pertaining to being released on bond.
