  • RAVENSWOOD - In July, 2012, a ground opening was held in Ravenswood for Tudor’s Biscuit World and Gino’s. CEO Oshel Craigo and franchisers Gary and Bonnie Lineberry were working to put the two restaurants under one roof.
Upon the completion of the construction, the Lineberrys had a “soft sell day” on Wednesday, January 16 for invited guests. Mayor Michael Ihle was chosen to be the first person to place an order.
City Council members Judy Wiseman, Gary Cross, Mike Kelly and Jared Bloxton, and City Recorder Kathy Garret as well as former mayor Lucy Harbert were present as a show of support for the business.
Mr. Lineberry stated that although his background is in construction, he always wanted to try opening a restaurant in the community.
Said Lineberry, “I have been in construction for years, so I know how everything is supposed to go. It was frustrating at times. I have to thank Lucy (former mayor Harbert) for all of her help. She was very instrumental in helping us get Tudor’s into the city. She really helped us a lot. My wife, Bonnie, and I are thrilled to finally be opening. We are very excited and look forward to having a good relationship with the community. We’re happy to be part of the Tudor’s family.”
The official opening for the public is today, Thursday, January 17.
