RAVENSWOOD - Hailey Miller poured in a game-high 20 points and Taylor Youell 18 to lead Ravenswood's Red Devilettes to a dominating 66-44 win over visiting Webster County in a rare tilt played in The Pit Saturday night.

Coach Cara Williams' Devilettes broke the game open early in the first quarter with full-court pressure and slashes into the paint to roll to a 20-8 first quarter scoring margin.

The Highlanders managed a 11-9 scoring margin in the second quarter, but trailed 29-19 at the half.

A high scoring third quarter saw the Devilettes eke out a 19-16 scoring advantage, before Ravenswood rolled out a 18-9 barrage in the final eight minutes to win going away.

For Ravenswood, Hannah Murray added eight points, Melonna Carmichael seven, Taylor Treadway four and Kindsey Torris, Mariah Jackson and Paige Barr two each.

Ravenswood shot 57% from the floor, canning 28 of 49 shots, but hit just three of 17 from beyond the arc (Youell two) and seven of 13 from the free throw line.

Brandi Clevenger and Taylor Anderson paced the Highlanders with 14 points each. Samantha Stout added eight, Erin Brown four, Bethany Young three and Megan Bragg one.

Taylor Treadway led the Ravenswood rebounding with seven. Hannah Murray and Hailey Miller grabbed six caroms each. Taylor Youell dished off five assists and notched three steals. Melonna Carmicahel added three assists. Murray blocked five shots.
Ravenswood (7-5) played at Parkersburg Catholic last (Monday) night and hosts Williamstown Thursday and Tyler Consolidated Saturday night at the RvHS Physical Education Building.
