Brenda Mobley has joined the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and Jackson County Development Authority as Program Manager after serving for many years with the West Virginia Department of Agriculture (WVDA), Charleston, WV. Brenda is a graduate of Ripley High School and a graduate of WVU-P with an AAS degree in Office Administration and an AAS degree in Business Administration. She also received the Regents Bachelor of Arts degree from Glenville State College.

Brenda brings to us over 25 years of experience with state government in West Virginia and has worked in various areas including human resources, office management, promotions, homeland security, financial aid, and various loan programs just to name a few. Prior to her employment at the WVDA she was employed at WVU-Parkersburg Jackson County Center, Jackson County Board of Education, and the Mountain State Art & Craft Fair. She has been involved with wellness programs, youth activities, American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Read Aloud Program, and has been a faithful supporter of the Jackson County Junior Fair.

NBC topped Monday with a double helping of Blake Shelton.The Voice pulled in 12 million viewers and a 3.9 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, down slightly from last week. Shelton's Christmas special Blake Shelton's Not So Family Christmas followed with 9 million viewers and a 2.8.
