A Diabetes Support & Awareness Spaghetti Dinner is set for Friday, October 12

A Diabetes Support & Awareness Spaghetti Dinner is set for Friday, October 12, from 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on Flinn Street in Ravenswood.

Cost is adult- $7; child-$4. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Cook Floral and Tetrick's Showcase Jewelers or at the door.

The event is being sponsored by L.O.V.E.D ( Loved Ones Valuing & Encouraging Diabetics). Proceeds will benefit the Bill and Tanya Sinnett family.

There will also be a basket silent auction. Auction winners will be announced at 6:30 p.m. and those absent will be called.

It's a great way to have a meal before supporting the Red Devils at the home game that night.
