Community Fun Festival Saturday weather permitting

The BoMar Club, Inc., 306 Church Street, is hosting a Community Fun Festival Saturday, September 1, from 4-10 p.m., weather permitting.

The event will be canceled in case of rain, and organizers say they should know by 2 p.m. if the festival will have to be scrubbed. (Call 340-372-3722 after 2 p.m.)

Scheduled entertainers include The Earl of Elkview, Tom Vickers and Dewey and The Donut Holes. However, everyone is invited to bring their instruments and perform.

There will be 50/50 drawings, and door prizes awarded ever hour. Admission is free.

All proceeds will got o help people in recovery.

The community is invited to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy the music.
