  • Orgae Cochran Casto, 81 of Lancaster, Ohio, formerly of Cottageville, WV went to meet her Lord and Savior June 19, 2012 at Landfair Center Nursing Facility following a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family and a close friend.
    She was born November 4, 1930 at Kanawha County, WV a daughter of the late Farley and Maggie Hart Cochran.  She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion United Brethern Church.
    In addition to her father and mother she was preceded in death by two brothers Donald (Dingle) Cochran and Edward Lee Cochran and a sister Wanda Patterson
    She is survived by a son Don Casto and his wife Brenda of Lancaster, Brothers Dencil Cochran and his wife Karen of Westerville, OH, Charles Cochran and his wife Jean of Dixon, MO and William Cochran of Given, WV; sister Helen Rea of Dixon, MO; Also survived by two grandchildren, Donnie and Rick (Melissa) Casto both of Lancaster and three great grandchildren and one on the way. Also a host of nieces and nephews.
    Special thanks to Evelyn Eddy and Louise Donohew for your kindness and support and the special care given to her by the aids and nurses at the nursing facility.
    Funeral service were at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Pastor Jerry Bonnett officiated. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Putnam County. Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday  at the funeral home.
