James Wesley, Arnold, 61, of North Augusta, SC entered into rest on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at his at his home.
Jim was the son of Margaret and the late Malcolm C. Arnold. He was born October 28, 1950 in Welch, WV. He grew up in Ravenswood where his parents moved in 1958.
Jim graduated from Ravenswood High School with the class of 1968 as well as the Technical College of Kokomo, IN. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, having been stationed in the Philippines.
Jim retired from Savannah River Plane and was a veteran of the U.S.A.F. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, North Augusta Sertoma Club and the V.F.W.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm “Mack” Arnold, two brothers, Dave and Jeff, and loving grandparents, Ralph and Rena Mulkey of Tazewell, VA and Henry Arnold of Capels, of WV.
 In addition to his wife, Mary Ann and his mother, Margaret Arnold of Ravenswood, WV; Jim is survived by his brother, Ralph Henry and his wife, Joni and their 2 children of Marietta, OH; one son Christopher Longfellow; one aunt, Ruth Ellis of Raleigh, NC; two uncles, John Mulkey and his wife, Freda, of Bluefield, VA; and Douglas Arnold and wife, Margie, of Kokomo, IN.
His funeral service wias held on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. James Dennis and Dr. John Newell officiated . Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Park.
A celebration of Jim’s life was held at Grace United Methodist, in Augusta Georgia, with interment at the Augusta Pine View Memorial Park.
