  • William C. “Bill” Cutlip, 62 of Ravenswood passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at his home following a sudden illness.

  • William C. “Bill” Cutlip, 62 of Ravenswood passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at his home following a sudden illness.
    He was born November 3, 1949 at Tacoma, WA a son of Frances Cutlip Goff of Evans and the late William Cutlip. He was a Veteran of the US Army and was an owner operator truck driver also having driven for Great American Truck Lines and Hunt Trucking. He was an avid Remote Control Airplane Pilot and built airplanes for many people. He was a member of the Jackson County Aero Modelers and was known for his ability to fix anything. He was a fantastic Cross Sticher.
    In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step-father Howard Goff Jr. who raised him and was the only father he ever knew, and a brother Michael Cutlip.
    In addition to his mother, Frances Goff, he is survived by his wife Diane Cutlip; his children William C. Cutlip II, Dennis Cutlip and Michael Cutlip all of Niagara Falls, NY, Jonathan Cutlip and Jennifer Cutlip Thompson both of Broadway, VA and Courtney Cutlip of Sandyville; Stepmother, Mary Key Cutlip, brothers Howard Goff III of Evans, Kenneth Goff (Jean) of Evans, William “Cut” Cutlip (Marta) of Weirton, WV, Charles Cutlip of Wheeling; sisters Margaret A. Bailey of Charleston, Dora L Parsons (Mike) of Ripley, Barbara Garner (Ken) of Clendenin, Cathy Staudacher of Mingo Junction, Thelma Anthony (Gary) of Toronto, OH and Katie Hinson (Lloyd) of Canton. Also survived by 11 grandchildren with one on the way and many nieces and nephews.
    In honoring his wishes he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held 7 pm Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Friends may call on the family from 5 pm until time of service.
