On Saturday, November 12, Ripley Library will be hosting a gallery art show and reception featuring Justin Roark. The show will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 12.  For this particular show, Roark will display works that celebrate his heritage as a West Virginian and the beautiful creations found in this state. He described this experience as his “most interesting because it has been both a physical and, mental journey.

Justin Roark developed his passion for art at a very young age and that passion has continued to grow.

After graduating from Ripley High School, Justin earned his degree in commercial design and graphics from Fairmont University. Much of his work reflects underlying messages related to his Christian faith.

He has traveled extensively and has documented imagery through photographs from which he paints.

Physical and mental journey.” The Jackson County Library is very proud to be able to showcase Justin’s work in his first gallery show in his hometown of Ripley. The art show is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
