Ravenswood High School Choral Department needs your help!
Glee Give A Note is donating $1,000,000 to schools to preserve or further existing music programs.
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is sponsoring this unique opportunity to win one of 73 grants to help benefit music education programs.  The US is divided into five regions.  Ravenswood is one of 89 schools competing in Region 4.  Each region will have 12 winners of $10,000, 2 winners of $25,000, and there will be 3 national winners of $50,000.
Ravenswood High School is asking for you to vote online for their video entry in the Glee Give A Note grant giveaway.
To vote, simply go to www.gleegiveanote.com, click “Vote Now,” type in Ravenswood in School Name box, and click “Vote.”  You can vote daily until November 7th.  Voting can be done from smartphones and personal computers. Only one daily entry from a public computer system allowed (business, library, etc.)
The total number of votes is part of the judging criteria as well as relevance to music education/theme, originality, creativity and emotional/inspirational reaction.  Winners will be announced December 15.
Joyce Good Pitchford has been the Director for 38 years.  The program needs funding to replace worn out 1980s items:  sound equipment, music, performance outfits, and broken risers.
Please support Ravenswood High School Chorus by voting.
