Junior Fulk, 74, of Sandyville passed away January 20, 2010, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.


Junior Fulk, 74, of Sandyville passed away January 20, 2010, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.

He was born January 19, 1936, in Shenandoah County, VA, a son of the late Claude and Edith Biller Fulk.  He was a retired mechanic, having last worked for Pete Gould Pipeline Co., and was a member of Ripley Baptist Temple.

He is survived by his wife Janice May Fulk; sons Russ (Chris) Fulk of Sandyville and Jerry (Annette) Fulk of Cottageville; daughters Doris (Rick) Skeen of Evans, Carol (Mark) Taylor of Glasgow, KY, Karen (Joe) Wolfe of Kenna, and Lori (Johnny) Staats of Sandyville; sisters Treva Smith, Genevieve Holsinger, Catherine Anderson, and Betty Lou Smith; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Ronnie L. Fulk, in 1999 and  brother, James Fulk.

Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating.  Burial followed in Fairplain Cemetery.

Friends called from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, at the funeral home.
