A Ravenswood woman was arrested early Monday morning after police say she assaulted her aunt by hitting her and biting her in the right breast.

According to the complaint filed by Ravenswood Patrolman G.C. Burnem, at approximately 4:35 a.m. Monday morning, he responded to 909 Race Street in Ravenswood in response to a reported domestic altercation.

When he arrived, he spoke to the alleged victim, Linda Burchett, who claimed that her niece, Megan Lynn Skeen, 18, had spit in her face, grabbed her and began punching her.  Burchett said that during the altercation, Skeen bit her on her right breast.

Skeen was taken into custody and transported to the Ravenswood Police Station.  En route, Skeen allegedly admitted she had been drinking.  A subsequent chemical test indicated that Skeen’s blood-alcohol content was 0.053.

Skeen was charged with misdemeanor counts of domestic battery, assault and underage consumption.  She was released on $1,500 bond.
