Ripley City Council approved a request from Chief of Police Jim Fridley to arm local police officers with tasers.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department has been asked to investigate the results of a recent audit of Ripley High School funds, after the results were turned over to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office last week.
